The Populist right wing SNS party won almost half the seats along side the radical party, a party that is among the most far right in Europe. The Alternative for Germany (AfD) party is the first far-right nationalist movement to enter the German parliament since World War II, after winning 12.6 percent of the vote in Germany's federal election.The result, following the election on September 24, makes the AfD the third biggest party in the Bundestag.
